  • Age limit: Maximum age is 27 years as on 30.04.2025. (Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates).
  • Educational Qualification: Graduate in Engineering (with an aggregate of 60% marks) in the relevant discipline (as mentioned above)- (50% marks (aggregate) for SC/ST candidates)
  • Final year students can apply provisionally.
  • Pay scale: ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000 with 3% annual increment.
  • Other benefits: DA, HRA, PF, leave, fringe benefits as per company rules
  • Job profile: During the training period, you will get experience in various company departments such as manufacturing, design, or even defence and IT projects. Post training, you will be absorbed as an Officer in the company.
  • Location of Posting: Headquarters in Hyderabad and Zonal/Branch/Site Offices across India.

  • Application Fee: ₹1,000 for General/OBC/EWS candidates. SC/ST/PwD/ex-servicemen/ECIL employees exempted. The fee is payable via SBI Collect (online or SBI Bank).
  • Two stages of the Selection Process: Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Personal Interview.
  • Weightage: CBT 85%, Interview 15%.
  • Minimum 50% in each stage and 60% overall to qualify.
  • Relaxation of standards for reserved categories.
  • 100 multiple-choice questions, 120 minutes, negative marking (0.25 per wrong answer).
  • The syllabus covers core engineering subjects.
  • CBT centers: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata.
  • Question paper in English and Hindi.
  • Interview at Hyderabad for shortlisted candidates post CBT.
  • Document verification is mandatory before the interview.
  • Required documents include educational certificates (caste/PwD/EWS certificates for reserved categories), application form, photo ID, fee receipt, etc.
  • Employment bond for 4 years with a penalty of ₹4,00,000 for breach.
  • Indian nationals only.
  • Can be posted anywhere in India.
  • Travel fare will be reimbursed for the interview (sleeper class only).
  • No TA/DA for CBT.
  • No correspondence after process completion.
  • ECIL reserves the right to alter the process.
